About Greg

I am Greg Ellis, a leadership coach dedicated to guiding individuals and organizations toward meaningful growth and purpose. My experience spans corporate, non-profit, and faith-based sectors, where I help leaders realign with their core values, fostering environments where integrity, creativity, and ethical leadership flourish.

In working with corporate leaders, I emphasize intentional growth and ethical decision-making, ensuring organizations remain true to their core purposes. For non-profit leaders, I focus on mission alignment and community impact, helping them navigate challenges and enhance their service to others.

As a pastor and coach, I deeply understand the unique challenges faced by those in ministry. My coaching provides a safe space for reflection, helping pastors maintain spiritual vitality and effectively serve their congregations.

For denominational leaders, I offer guidance in fostering a culture of authenticity and spiritual renewal, inspiring communities to engage meaningfully with their faith. To fellow coaches, I provide a collaborative space for professional growth, encouraging shared learning and advancement in our field.

I believe that while personal development and ethical leadership are vital, true transformation is ultimately the work of the Holy Spirit. My role is to support and guide individuals in their journey, providing tools and insights that complement the deeper, spiritual growth that only the Holy Spirit can bring.

Areas of Focus:

My Coaching Philosophy:

In my coaching practice, I use transformative questions to facilitate growth and development in pastors and leaders, empowering them to tap into their strengths, navigate challenges with resilience, and envision a future of impactful leadership. Through deep, trusting relationships and a commitment to continuous learning, I aim to nurture authentic and compassionate leadership that contributes to the mission of building healthy and missional churches.

I recognize the importance of awareness regarding racial and ethnic differences and the resulting power dynamics. I address the unique challenges leaders face from diverse backgrounds by fostering an inclusive and equitable coaching environment. My approach emphasizes listening, validating experiences, and promoting inclusive leadership practices. This ensures that all leaders can thrive and contribute meaningfully to their communities regardless of background.

Coaching Style:

I offer tailored coaching to leaders and executives in a supportive yet challenging environment. With a leader’s heart and a strategist’s mind, I help clients gain clarity on their goals and develop actionable plans to achieve them. My collaborative and action-oriented style focuses on identifying strengths, values, and aspirations. Utilizing tools like CliftonStrengths and the Birkman Inventory, I provide insights and strategies to overcome challenges and achieve desired outcomes. Committed to a safe, non-judgmental space, I encourage exploration, challenge assumptions, and foster new perspectives, aiming to unleash your potential and enhance your fulfillment and performance.
